“of the WOOD furniture” – handmade, easy-to-assemble furniture, made in Lithuania. Established in 2018, the brand was born from a fascination with natural materials and the inspiration of seeing what they can become in the hands of a professional craftsman. All key production processes for “of the WOOD furniture” take place in our own workshop, allowing us to ensure the quality of every piece and provide personal attention to you, our clients.

Who are we?

“of the WOOD furniture” is a family business co-created by Vaiva and Aurimas.
Aurimas’s experience and work with wood began long before the creation of “of the WOOD furniture”. Feeling that his previous work lacked challenges and wishing to use his expertise to create more complex and aesthetically pleasing products, Aurimas naturally transitioned into furniture making.

Vaiva, meanwhile, has long been interested in interior design and drawn to unique furniture concepts. Her passion for original and aesthetic design elements became especially clear when it came time to furnish their first home. Communication and connecting with people have always been an integral part of Vaiva’s life.

That’s why Vaiva is the person behind every email you receive or social media post you see. You can find Aurimas in the workshop every day or reach him by phone—he will be happy to advise you, help you choose, and tell you about every curve of a table leg.

Our values

  • Natural materials: we manufacture using solid oak, oak veneer, and walnut.
  • Longevity: we select wood that allows furniture to serve for many decades without losing its best qualities. If a piece is damaged during use, we take care of its repair and restoration.
  • Quality: we control the production process from start to finish, with every detail carefully inspected to guarantee a perfect final result.
  • Personal attention: we communicate personally with every client, listen to individual needs, and ensure smooth communication throughout the entire order process.

Production process

The most important production processes – wood preparation, sanding, cutting parts, coating furniture with color and a protective layer, and assembly – take place in our workshop in Vilnius. Since we do everything with our own hands and control the production process, we can offer custom furniture dimensions adapted to your living space layout and other personal needs. This level of production control also allows us to guarantee that once a production deadline is agreed upon, we will meet it on time.

We use the highest-grade oak in our furniture production. This ensures that the wood we use is free of knots and cracks, giving the furniture an elegant and sophisticated look.

In pieces where we combine oak with other materials, we also use high-quality products: natural leather, tempered glass, or soft-close drawer slides, ensuring maximum comfort and an aesthetic result for our clients.

All furniture tops are finished with a protective layer that shields them from water, wine, and other beverage stains.
